Opening up since january 1997, the Club Nathalie Simon is the first windsurfing club of its type in this region. The island boasts of a huge lagoon fringed by a barrier reef and is swept by a warm breeze most of the time in summer and by fresher trade winds from june to October. Bouba Diving Centre - Rodrigues

The island of Rodrigues, which is situated in the middle of the Tropical Indian Ocean with its two sister islands of the Mascarenes - Reunion and Mauritius, lies in a picture postcard lagoon twice its own size.

The 'Bouba Diving Centre' is based at the Mourouk Ebony Hotel next to the village of Port Sud-Est facing a large winding channel 'La Grande Passe'. The lagoon which is blessed with an impressive coral barrier reef, is crossed through by numerous channels oozing out to the open sea.

Come enjoy scuba diving among the pristine coral reefs of Rodrigues, an ideal scuba diving destination. Rodrigues’ isolated location and limited commercial development have always restricted fishing activities to a minimum. In the lagoons, the pirogues are generally pole propelled. The coral reef has therefore remained untouched and is an outstanding divers’ paradise.
